RMS PARENTS

Broadway CampusRockridge Montessori School opened its doors to young children in 1986. The intent was and still is to provide quality education to children within the context of mutual respect, nurturing and joy of learning. Our program encourages independence, cooperation, empathy, and social responsibility.

We believe that a child develops best when he or she is offered a wide variety of opportunities to experience the world. Our program encompasses Montessori materials and developmentally appropriate activities.

RMS expanded its program in September 2004, to include a place for Infant/Toddler Children. This drive to open an Infant/Toddler Program came as an answer to many inquiries of families trying to find quality care for such a young age.

We believe the school and home must work harmoniously together to create a warm and secure life for the young child. To achieve this partnership, RMS offers support to you through daily interactions, conferences, and consultations.

The staff and administration at RMS feel very strongly about the importance of the family structure to a young child and see the children as part of our extended family, which we surround with love and acceptance.
