Our Toddler Program: Nurturing Early Growth with Purpose
At Rockridge Montessori, our Toddler Communities are designed to support natural development during this exciting and formative stage. The environments are carefully crafted to encourage independence, exploration, and early learning, with age-appropriate materials that promote sensory discovery, early language development, and cognitive growth.
Children are given the freedom to choose activities that spark their curiosity while building essential skills like problem-solving, coordination, and social interaction. In our Toddler classrooms, children learn through hands-on experiences, develop a strong sense of self, and begin to form positive relationships with peers and adults.
Primary
Ages 2 to 5 years
The early childhood environment in Montessori is designed to be a dynamic and enriching space where children feel empowered to explore, create, and learn at their own pace. With carefully selected materials that encourage hands-on engagement, the classroom fosters independence, problem-solving, and a deep sense of responsibility. Children are given the freedom to choose activities that align with their interests, allowing them to develop concentration and a love for learning in a nurturing, low-stress environment.
